Bio

I was born in Montreal and lived in a little city named Lorraine about 20 minutes north of Montreal. At 6 years old, I started to play soccer and loved it. However, in 2000, during my first high school year at Collège St-Sacrement, I joined the school athletics club. Slowly, I moved from being the never-tired-runner of my soccer teams to being a 3000m track runner and a cross-country runner. Frankly, it was all about making new friends.

During my third high school year, I fixed myself an incredible goal: to study abroad for a year at the end of high school. Therefore, I quickly learnt how to work very hard to get the money to achieve my dreams. In 2005, mission accomplished, I left for New Zealand where I joined a road running club and discovered the sport of triathlon. Actually, it's at Cambridge High School that I did my first triathlon. I swam in running gears, cycled on a large bike and ran 3km barefoot. Awesome time !

Back in Quebec, in 2006, I quickly found a way to get into triathlon. I found a swimming club (CAMO)and met my first triathlon coach, Christian Camden, through his triathlon club Cadence Multisports. Thanks to him, I won the Sprint Quebec Cup in my age group the first two years. In 2009, I wanted to race with the elites so I left Montreal for Laval University in Quebec city to join the only university triathlon team in Quebec, Rouge et Or triathlon. In 2010, I raced my first legal drafting triathlon and finished 6th.

In 2011, I had a huge back injury that kept me away from racing. However, in 2012, I came back stronger than ever and finished my first half-ironman in an extraordniary time of 4:24:59. Hopefully, I will be able to race with the professional triathletes this year on the 70.3 Ironman series.
